Nature Writing about motherhood

In her new work "Frühe Pflanzung", author Anna Ospelt writes about motherhood, child development in the womb, the social significance of motherhood for women and interprets observations of nature in an idiosyncratic way. If you would like to find out more about this poetic exploration of parenthood and nature, you are in the right place at the book party at sphères on Tuesday, 21 November 2023.

Oceans in danger

In this concert with plucked instruments by Daniel Hess at the GZ Affoltern, which is suitable for children aged 4 and over, we not only learn about the beauty and diversity of the sea, but also that the oceans are threatened by waste, oil drilling, overfishing and deep-sea shipping.

Masterpieces of nature

On Sunday, there will be guided tours through the permanent exhibition "Masterpieces of Nature" at the Zoological and Palaeontological Museum of the University of Zurich. You can admire the beautiful fossils that the artist Nature has created in her underground studio over the last 550 million years using pressure and minerals.
