My Light - A Light Room by James Turrell
The "My Light" pavilion provides visible support in everyday hospital life for dealing with particularly stressful situations: Together with the world-famous artist James Turrell, the Children's Hospital has created this special place. In the Light-Space, which is specially designed to meet the needs of the children's hospital, there is room for peace and inspiration, joy and happiness, but also sadness and comfort. In this way, a personal piece of light is created for each and every person - "My Light".
Turrell's Light-Space will again be open to the public for three hours every first Sunday of the month during the darker months, from September-December and January-April 2022/23.
Free guided tour 1:30pm - 2:00pm and 2:30pm - 3:00pm
We ask that you go directly to "My Light" and not take the route through the hospital building.
