Performing Rage Collective

“Name the violence, channel the anger, unite in resistance.” How well can you
be angry? Do you seethe with rage? Or not even come close?

And what if that anger were an animal in your stomach? At the intersection of
performance and workshop, hundertachtzigdazu invites you to
explore your own anger. We’ll guide you gently and safely through shared exercises
and moments of observation. You can join in, or simply watch
what’s happening. Protest pranks, instructions, performative outbursts of anger and blazing
releases of energy lead you into the heart of your own anger.

There, it tenses, throbs, cracks and gurgles. Deep within the nervous system, the
warning signs and the urgency of rebellion become apparent. Anger is the unstoppable driving force
that compels us to question the status quo and to rise up. Because
one thing is clear: there are plenty of reasons to be angry!

The Performing Rage Collective works in a transdisciplinary manner, exploring anger,
gender and empowerment through performance as a method. In its work
, the collective is interested in formats that lie between performance and
research projects. Bodies are not merely a means of representation, but
become instruments of perception through which experiences and insights
are generated.
