Films for Future: The battle for distribution in transport
Who will own the roads of the future? An unusual joint experiment between Pro Velo and the SVP.
What should the transport system of the future look like, given that more and more vehicles are sharing the limited space on Swiss roads? Since the 1980s, car traffic in Zurich has doubled, whilst the debate over the use of public space has grown in significance. The SRF-DOK documentary ‘The Battle for Road Space – Which Road Leads to the Future?’ addresses this conflict and asks who the roads should belong to and which modes of transport will be allocated more space in future.
